There is a canoe and kayak available with the cottage and you can rent a motorized fishing boat from the local store and tie it up to the dock at the cottage. You are close to St. Ignace and Mackinaw City where you can spend plenty of time sightseeing and also catch a ferry to Mackinac Island. You are not far from I-75 or US-2 and it is a central location for day trips to Sault Ste. Marie, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island or Pictured Rocks. It is a perfect location for hiking, biking and outdoor lovers, North Country Trail access is right there and there are 1000s of acres of State and Federal Forest right out your door. But why leave when you have the lake, a great fire pit and a grill? Your friends and family will have a wonderful time enjoying each other and some quiet time together under the stars.
